Does the phrase "differently abled" create stigma and marginalize disabilities as opposed to using the word "disabled"?

America has this thing where we like to change words thinking it's gonna change the condition, but it just creates confusion for the next generation who hears both uses of the words. I use the word disabled usually, but I'm never gonna hold it against somebody who uses 'differently abled' or even 'crippled', because that's how they grew up using the words.
