Since I'm on a video game binge, I thought why not share the moments in them where I experienced emotions beyond comparison, and as the title implies, please tell me yours!

Gears of War 2 - "We Found Her"

When Dom says "We found her." Gears of War reenlisted me as a dedicated player. Immediately when I began playing Gears 2 I recognized the developers of the game worked hard to not only overhaul the game but take criticism from the first game and turn it into the motivation to improve the sequel. I absolutely disliked the narrative of the first game and thought the story was utter nonsensical crap, as did many critics of the game, but everything about the sequel to the first game redeemed the game's lack of character writing and advancement of plot while keeping the gameplay that everybody loved. The music used in that scene of Gears 2 is also unlike any other from the games, and the scene is a standout from the series.

To The Moon - "Everything's Alright"

In lieu of actually showing the actual absolute tearbreaker of a scene that is the emotional climax of To The Moon, where all your progress seems for naught but you're doing the right thing (maybe), I figured I'd show the notoriety of how emotional the game makes players. So much so, there are compilations of emotional reactions to the game. The game WILL make you cry unless you go into playing the game with your objective specifically not to cry, it's that good.

Halo 4 - "I'm not doing this for mankind"

I'm only placing Halo 4 in front of To The Moon for one reason, and that is the presence of more emotions in a gaming scene than sadness. To The Moon, while being the most emotional game I've ever played in terms of sadness, Halo 4 manages to capture that same sense of sadness while empowering the player at the same time. When you're confronting the Didact for what is hopefully the last time, Cortana, Master Chief's AI, starts doing something slightly suspicious, why she does it is revealed to us and Chief in the last scene of the mission. When the Didact confronts Chief, Cortana leaps into action restraining the Didact, saving Chief's butt yet again and the line "I'm not doing this for mankind." tells us more than we need to know to finish our mission.

Shadow of the Colossus - "You'll never see her."

While Shadow of the Colossus wasn't originally up here, I'm going to include it as a bonus per SilverInkblot's indirect reminder. If you have an old PS2 lying around that still works go out and get a copy of this game now and set up the console and play it. Or get it for PS3, I've heard it's been remade for PS3 as well.

The ending to walking dead season 1 (haven't played season 2 yet). My god, I cried like a baby.
