A Hunt For Literature Begins!!!

Sun Jan 6, 2013, 9:04 PM
The new year is upon us, and so is the Literature Scavenger Hunt!!!

The Challenge

This week, CRLiterature will be hosting a literature scavenger hunt. A scavenger hunt is typically defined as a game played in an extensive outdoor area, in which participants have to collect a number of miscellaneous objects. Our scavenger hunt will be played in the Literature gallery here on deviantART and will have deviants searching high and low for literature deviations that match the items on the list for the hunt. There's a total of 60 deviations to be found (20 poetry, 20 Prose, 5 Script, and 15 general items).

Here is a quick rundown of the all-powerful rules :worship:

:bulletblue: You will have 5 days to locate the deviations, starting on Jan 7 12:00 AM EST and ending on Jan 11 11:59 PM EST.
:bulletblue: Post a link to the deviation along with what number it is in this journal to receive a point.
:bulletblue: A literature piece must be okayed by a CRLiterature staff member to receive a point.
:bulletblue: You may not receive points for a piece you or someone else has already received points for.
:bulletblue: Only pieces under the Literature gallery may be used in the hunt (No scraps).
:bulletblue: In the event that some items are scarce we will accept the same hunt item credited to multiple people.
:bulletblue: If one of your own deviations qualifies for an item on the list, you may receive a point for it if you link to it (this rule subject to change).
:bulletblue: You may not create or edit deviations to fit items on the list. Only literature from 2012 or earlier qualifies for the hunt.

Yes it's finished. But the results are being delayed due to my lack of internet at the moment. Perhaps if there is enough interest generated for it again I could extend the scavenger hunt for two weeks?

:slow: This kind of effort seriously deserves some points. As well as being generally impressive, it's good to know that you're really paying attention to what you read!

Sorry, did I use the same links? Gah.

*flails* most of the responses i saw in there were to pieces not on dA... and then I remembered once upon a time i wrote this: [link] does that count for 58? ;o

58 never says that it has to be a response to a piece of literature on dA. But that can count too.
