Literature Text

Constellations constantly elated,
dilapidatedly dilated, we compare
our outdated starlight to dust motes
vacuumed away in an instant dangerously.

About this Bitlet

This poem is based off of the opening lyrics of a Bike For Three! song where singer Buck 65 says the first three words in the poem a little differently: "Constellations constant elation." I re-purposed those words for a little poem about how we put too much meaning into "outdated" stars.

Bitlets are about quantity, not quality. Free-write at least one a day about what is on your mind, going on around you, or the state of your life. Ignore the urge to edit; it's not about being profound on purpose, it's about stumbling on it by accident.
